Considering that these supplements are herbal in nature, they may not have any side effects compared to other weight loss measures. Anything herbal, takes time for results to be seen and experienced. I am of the opinion they have to be taken over a period of time to get some real visible results.
I have come across cases where these supplements have not had much of a desired effect on a person and at the same time it has worked wonders on another person. It may depend on the metabolism of an individual. May be the person on whom it has not had the desired effect, may not have combined it with the necessary daily exercise and the type of food combined. There is no method which works without diet and exercise. With obesity increasing even in teenagers, people look for quick-fix results and herbal dietary weight loss supplements are definitely not for these individuals.
There is nothing instant. It goes without saying that just as the weight has accumulated over a period of time, weight loss also will take some time. Having said all of the above, I am of the opinion that herbal dietary weight loss supplements do work when combined with diet and exercise.
